Do you know that dogs get dementia and Alzheimer's? Does your dog have behavior issues or cognitive changes?

My Shamrock started to have strange changes - nothing we noted at first - not barking - not wagging her tail, but that led to other issues - I have spent over 2 years uncovering what these strange behavioral changes are, interviewing over 50 veterinarians, specialists, researchers and best-selling authors to understand how to recognize signs, treats available and even how to possibly prevent this from becoming Canine Cognitive Dysfunction. My book, "Shamrock's STORY -From Hurricane Katrina to Doggy Dementia and Alzheimer's is a "must readSham bk cover for email .jpg for every pet parent!

If you even think your dog has cognitive issues I hope you will not ignore them as I did - I have had 9 dogs and never knew what this disease was or could do. If you want more information please visit: Shamrock's Story - From Hurricane Katrina to Doggy DementiaDetails or write me here or at francine@goldenquillpress.com - this is too important for both your dog and your family!

Thanks so much for sharing your book, Francine.

Dementia can often be avoided by watching BEAM carefully, tracking symptoms in a journal, not suppressing any symptoms (even physical) and taking deep action at the first hint of BEAM or other changes.

Dr. Christina,
Thank you for your comments.

I agree BEAM and Dr. Feinman are featured prominently in the book, as are over 50 other experts in their fields .
And yes, the primary thing I learned in over 2 years and hundreds of interviews is "Early Prevention is Key!"

This is such an important message for any dog parent- thanks again.
